BENCHMARKING /
STAY COMPETITIVE
To get a better understanding of the latest technology, we offer benchmarking or teardown services. Through this, you will be able to gain a better knowledge of the materials and methods used.
Benchmarking can be an effective tool to evaluate material properties, dimensional properties, understand new technologies, create BOMs, decrease costs, validate manufacturing processes and many other factors.
NEW OFFER:
COST & CO2 STUDIES
To align with customers’ needs and continuing developing our sustainability practices, Alvier Mechatronics now offers costing and CO2 emissions calculation study services! If cost and CO2 emissions are important parameters in your design or product, Alvier offers these services as a standalone package, or can be added on to a design/prototype service package from our service portfolio. The cost and CO2 emissions services can also be purchased together or separately.
The cost and CO2 emissions calculations are performed in the same software, POLARIXCOSTING, or PxC. This software solely calculates cost of components and CO2 emissions associated with these components, giving you a streamlined and efficient way of viewing the data you need, without searching for it in a multi-function software environment.
USE OF BUILT-IN-DATABASES
PxC uses material and machine databases to easily find the materials utilized to create your product components and the machines that are used in the manufacturing processes to create the components. In addition, we have the ability to tune these databases to the customer’s needs, if there are specific values they use for material price, or machine costs, utilization, maintenance, or any other specific machine parameters.
TYPES OF STUDIES
The studies we provide can vary customer to customer. Standard services include:
YOUR ADVANTAGE
Create transparent, easy to understand customized tables and charts in summary sheets, report, or presentation format.
SYSTEMATIC COMPARISON
TEARDOWNS
We have a catalogue of teardowns that have already been performed on existing components, including eMotors, inverters, DC/DC converters, on-board chargers, and inductors.
Components from several major OEMs have been investigated. These results can then be used for cost breakdown analysis and to optimize design and manufacturing.
TECHNOLOGY & INTELLIGENCE
During the teardown we can perform a full reverse engineering project, detailing factors like dimensions, coil and winding arrangements and material grades. We can then use this information to feed into our Digital Twin simulations.
