Part time lab assistant

Do you get energy from working in a creative environment while also working for a sustainable future? We are looking for a part time lab assistant who can support and assist us with administrative work and documentation.

 

//ABOUT THE POSITION

The role as part time lab assistant includes the following:

  • Assisting to create a registry for equipment and stock levels (possibly asked to help with other excel databases also).
  • General workshop cleanliness including processing of electrical, hazardous or dangerous waste.
  • For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to assist with completing tests on the motor test rig. This may involve assembly of parts, running of tests and documenting results.

 

//ABOUT YOU

You are a structured and organised person who enjoys working within a team but you are also able to work independently using your own initiative when necessary.

You may be studying an engineering based subject or have a hobbyist interest in engineering, electronics or engines and controls.  In house we have a workshop, test lab, 3D printer, laser cutter and other prototype production and testing equipment.  Outside of the tasks for the job role, there will be opportunities to support using this equipment and developing the associated processes.

Its good if you are comfortable with Swedish and English as we have a varied team

Senior Application Specialist System Simulation Mechanics & Thermal

// ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Senior Application Specialist System Simulation Mechanics & Thermal, you will be part of our Tech team that design and simulate electromagnetic applications with principal focus on electrical machines and inductors from a mechanical and thermal point of view. You will be working closely with the Prototype & Validation team, participating in the validation of the theoretical simulations on prototypes in the test lab to support our digital twin philosophy. This is a chance to try your ideas in practice from concept idea to a working prototype.

You will act as the technical expert link between our company and the providers of the simulation software and actively develop tools and methods for efficient design and simulations as well as taking part in test procedures for prototype validation. You will be working with efficient data exchange to other simulations domains and propose performance targets for new generations of materials based on motor and system simulations. You will support projects with end-users and customers globally. The position is in Helsingborg in new premises with flexible working options. Travel will be required occasionally.

Lead test engineer

// ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Lead Test Engineer within the Prototype and Validation team you will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of tests to validate the output of the Alvier development team. You will form an integral part of the Prototype and Validation team, taking initiative and leading activities to achieve results. In Addition to the internal testing capabilities, we have external testing capabilities and require a lead to help coordinate this work.

With the responsibility of prototyping and testing within Alvier´s development projects, we want you to manage and conduct the development of tools, equipment, and the work methods required for validation. The position is in Helsingborg in new premises with flexible working options. Travel will be required occasionally.
